Anthony Smith is an award-winning Wildlife Artist from the village of Tarbock on the outskirts of Liverpool. He has won the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (R.S.P.B), 'Fine Art Award' at the Society of Wildlife Artists at the Mall Galleries in London, and the 'Wildscape Art Award' at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art (N.E.W.A).
He has been short-listed for the 'Bird Illustrator of the Year' on two occasions and has been featured on BBC Radio 4's 'You and Yours' programme. His work has appeared in numerous books, magazines and periodicals.
Anthony was the full-time artist at Chester Zoo, producing all their informational and educational artwork for over eighteen years and was involved in many of their outreach projects including those in Tanzania and Nigeria.
In 2016 he had his first one-man exhibition at the View Two Gallery in Mathew Street, Liverpool.
